What we collect. When you request a quote or join the mulch list, we collect your name, phone number, address, and (if provided) email and photos of the job site.
Why we collect it. Solely to prepare and send you a quote, contact you about your job, schedule work, and invoice you if you go ahead. Photos help us quote accurately without an extra site visit.
Where it's stored. Your information is stored securely in our database (hosted by Supabase) and is only accessible to Allsawted Tree Services staff who need it to do their job.
Who we share it with. We don't sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. It may be shared with subcontractors directly involved in completing your job (e.g. a specialist we bring in), and with our service providers (e.g. our database and email/SMS hosting) solely to operate this system.
How long we keep it. Job and invoice records are kept for at least 5 years to meet Australian tax record-keeping requirements. Enquiries that don't turn into a job may be deleted periodically.

Backup Your Data
Your records are stored in a proper database, but Australian tax law requires you to keep invoices
for 5 years — it's still worth exporting a backup regularly and keeping a copy somewhere durable
(your computer, Google Drive, etc) as extra insurance.
Restore From Backup
For disaster recovery only — use one of the JSON files from "Export Everything" above. This
adds and updates records from the backup file; it never deletes anything currently
in the system, even if it's missing from the backup. It can overwrite newer changes
with older ones from the backup file, so only use this after real data loss — not routinely.
Send to Xero
Generates a CSV in Xero's own import format. In Xero: Business → Invoices → Import, upload the file.
Only new invoices (not yet exported) are included each time, so re-clicking this won't create duplicates.
Uses AccountCode 200 and tax type "GST on Income" — check these match your Xero chart of accounts before importing.
